ASSOFORNITORI AND UNIONE (UIMTA)
United for Sector Development
THE ITALIAN ASSOCIATION OF SUPPLIERS TO TEXTILE CARE COMPANIES,
together with the AUIL [Italian Association of Washing Industries] and
the AIPT [Italian Dry- Cleaning Association], is an integral part of the UIMTA
[Italian Federation for the Care of Textiles and Allied Products].
The Federation's primary purposes are: to develop the sector,
assist in the organization of professional updating events,
inform and advise companies which are members of the Associations
that form the so-called "Washing and Dry- Cleaning System".
The Federation has a house organ, the magazine
DETERGO, issued each month,
which is read and consulted by the trade and by all those who are involved with textile cleaning and care.
This year, the suppliers' Association has shouldered
the entire burden of organizing
EXPO DETERGO INTERNATIONAL,
the biennial trade show that is a showcase for industry issues ranging from service to partnership,
from integration to governing market dynamics, social and ecological themes,
environmental protection, energy saving and hygiene.
These issues are not viewed as accessory and marginal aspects but as part and parcel of being
an economically and socially sound business |
